Workspaces
Workspaces are the main containers for organizing data in Mind One. Each workspace represents a data domain of your organization — customers, products, suppliers, assets — and defines the structure that the sheets it contains will inherit.
Creating a workspace
- From the sidebar, click Workspaces.
- Click Create workspace.
- Fill in the fields:
- Name: a descriptive identifier.
- Description: the workspace’s purpose.
- Icon (optional): a visual icon for the sidebar.
- Confirm the creation.
The workspace is created in an active state and appears in the sidebar.
Managing workspaces
Edit
- From the workspace list, click the workspace.
- Modify its name, description, icon, fields or validation rules.
- Save your changes.
Duplicate
Creates a copy of the workspace with its entire structure (fields, rules):
- From the list, select the Duplicate action on the workspace.
- Give it a new name and description.
- Confirm. A new, independent workspace is created.
Delete
Only administrators can delete workspaces. Deletion is permanent and affects all the sheets it contains.
Activate/Deactivate
Workspaces can be deactivated without deleting them. An inactive workspace doesn’t appear as an option when creating sheets.
Priority and order
The priority field determines the workspace’s display order in the sidebar and in listings. Workspaces with higher priority appear first.
Templates
A workspace can be marked as a template. Templates serve as a base for creating new workspaces with the same field structure and validation rules, without copying the data.
Autosync
Each workspace can have an autosync connection configured according to the customer’s data stack. Sheets inside the workspace inherit this connection automatically, unless they have their own connection that overrides it.
