Groups

Groups (formerly called “Collections”) let you group related sheets under the same concept, regardless of which workspace they belong to. They’re useful for organizing data by business process, project or any cross-cutting criterion.

Creating a group

  1. From the sidebar, go to Groups.
  2. Click Create group.
  3. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: the group’s identifier.
    • Description (optional): the purpose of the grouping.
    • Workspaces: select the workspaces whose sheets can be assigned to this group.
    • Priority (optional): display order.
  4. Confirm the creation.

Assigning sheets

Once the group is created, you can assign sheets from:

  • The group’s detail view.
  • The creation or editing of a sheet, by selecting the groups it belongs to.

A sheet can belong to multiple groups at the same time.

Management

Edit

Modify the name, description, priority or associated workspaces.

Duplicate

Creates a copy of the group with a new name. The assigned sheets aren’t duplicated — only the group’s structure is.

Delete

Deleting a group doesn’t delete the sheets it contains. Only the logical grouping is removed.

Filtering

The group list can be filtered by workspace to quickly find the relevant groups.
